During my days as an animation student, one of my projects was a short film in which a man tried to make toast. When the toast popped out of the toaster and he reached for it though, the cord unplugged itself and attempted to strike at him like a snake.

If I'd been able to animate longer than that, he'd have put it to sleep with a flute, at which point he takes the toas, puts it on a plate, and walks off to get the butter and jelly. When his back is turned, the toast gets up off the plate and skitters off.
