Animanaiacs Around The World!

One particular fascination of mine is how US-based cartoons make the transition (and translation) to other languages.

So I did some youtubing today and here's what I've found!

The Animaniacs theme in German:

I'm surprised at a) how much the German VA sounds exactly like her US counterpart, and b) that the Bill Clinton reference survived completely intact. I figured Bill CLinton playing the sax on Arsenio Hall would be more of a US-Centric reference.

This one is pretty interesting in that the voice actors voice the characters completely differently.

"All The Countries Of The World" in german:

One little touch I picked out... when he gets to the line about Germany, the lyrics are '...und Deutschland ist euch ja bekannt!' which is roughly "...and Germany, which you should know already!"
